Giants Deal Demons 6-4 Setback
The 6-4 Parramatta win over Melbourne was due largely to Willie Bendall. The Giants catcher went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Rex Woolnough in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Kylan Anlezark took the loss. David Hockenhull closed it out for his 9th save.

Parramatta took a 6-4 lead on Benjamin Ashwell's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Melbourne pitcher Kylan Anlezark in the bottom of the eighth.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Giants manager Derek Stringer. "This one was nice to get."

The win gives the Giants a record of 22-42.
