Late Magic Gets Collingwood 5-3 Win
The Collingwood Magpies picked up a win at Endeavour Field, knocking off the Cronulla Sharks, 5-3. Starting pitcher John Outhwaite played a key role in the triumph. Steve Walters converted his 17th save in 21 tries. The Magpies go to 29-42 with the win.

Collingwood used a clutch hit from Harry Overton to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Magpies ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"This was a good win," said Overton.
