Roosters Topple Saints, 9-4, as Uhm Shines
A 4-RBI performance from the 2019 Rookie of the Year Award winner Tal-hun Uhm helped the East Sydney Roosters beat the St. Kilda Saints, 9-4. Robb Precious, the winner, goes to 3-3. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts over 5.2 innings. John Gripton was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities.

Cec Chaundler dealt the Saints a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and East Sydney leading 4-3, Chaundler, who is tied for 6th in the WL in RBI with 57, hit a 2-2 changeup for a run-scoring single.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Uhm.

The Roosters bumped their record to 45-33 with this latest triumph.
