Starting pitcher Kurt Walsh was a major factor in the 7-0 North Sydney Bears triumph over the St. Kilda Saints. Walsh, now 10-2, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 9, walking 4, and allowing no runs. The Bears have an impressive 52-29 record.
