Late Magic Gets Collingwood 6-4 Win
North Melbourne got a decent performance from pitcher Hans Kalman, but it wasn't enough to beat the Collingwood Magpies. Collingwood won the North Melbourne Diamond contest, 6-4. Kalman threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Collingwood reliever Landon Hebron picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Chet Moore took the loss. The win has Collingwood at 39-58.

Collingwood used the clutch hitting of Kevin Camira to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Magpies the lead, 4-3. For the game, Camira had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said North Melbourne manager G Maloney. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
