Bears Lose Again, 6-4, to Giants
The Parramatta Giants picked up a win at Paramatta Fields, taking down the North Sydney Bears, 6-4. Starting pitcher Ieni Nagas was a big reason why. North Sydney now has a 7-game losing streak.

In the bottom of the sixth, Parramatta center fielder Phil Banks put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 3rd double of the year. North Sydney pitcher Robbie Fountain served it up. Just like that, the Giants were ahead, 3-2.

In comments to the Parramatta Gazette, Banks admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
