Thatcher Jacks Two Home Runs in 8-7 Cronulla Win
Asa Thatcher was instrumental in his team's 8-7 triumph over the Wests Tigers. The third baseman hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Cronulla Sharks. Cronulla reliever Coltyn Beardsley picked up the win to move to 9-5. Frank Coughlan suffered the loss. The Sharks have an impressive 74-42 record.

Tas Monroe aided the Cronulla cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter drove in one run.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Thatcher, "but we got it done."
