The East Sydney Roosters beat the Parramatta Giants by a score of 6-2. East Sydney first baseman Tal-hun Uhm deserved the lion's share of the credit. Uhm was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Roosters. The Giants, now 5-18, continue their inauspicious start.

Uhm contributed in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat among others that helped East Sydney get the win.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Uhm, "and then get after it again."
