Right-hander Cavill Stupples mesmerized the Parramatta Giants while leading the Cronulla Sharks to a 4-0 victory. The first-place Sharks, at 81-47, now lead their division by 2½ games.

Stupples's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 8 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 2 hits. Stupples, who is tied for 6th in the WL with a 18 quality starts, goes to 13-3 on the year with 158 strikeouts.
