Blues Win Semi Final Series
The Carlton Blues are heading to the League Championship Series, having narrowly defeated the Canberra Raiders.

Carlton edged Canberra in the series 4-3, with a win at Princes Park in the clinching game by a 2-0 margin.

Mick Lees turned in a strong offensive performance for the Blues and got series MVP for his efforts.

"I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Grand Final Series win."

It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Lees continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance.

For the series, he hit .357 with a .438 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi Final Series finishes.
