Blues Win League Championship Series
The Carlton Blues said they felt the League Championship Series with the South Melbourne Swans would go the distance.

But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Carlton advanced to the Grand Final Series with a 7-2 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Albert Park Baseball Grounds.

"Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Michael Morrall, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the Grand Final Series."

For the series, Morrall hit .542 with a .560 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Grand Final Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
