Eames Brings A-Game, Sharks Beat Bears
In a tight game between the Cronulla Sharks and the North Sydney Bears, pitcher Alby Eames was terrific on the mound. The Cronulla right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Eric Jolly earned the save for Cronulla, his 6th of the year. The Sharks have an impressive 26-14 record.

Eames, the winner, is now 3-2. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 5 Ks. He essentially shut down the North Sydney offense.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said North Sydney skipper Adam Brisske.
