Sinden Deals Carlton 2-1 Setback
|
South Melbourne Swans starter Steve Sinden was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Carlton Blues, 2-1. Earning his 7th save of the year was Luke Hornby. South Melbourne raised its record to 26-22 with the win.
The famously hardworking Sinden handled the Blues all day, notching 7 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 1 hit. Sinden, who finished 2nd in the NL in saves with 32 in 2020, goes to 3-2 on the year with 43 strikeouts.
