A 4-RBI performance from the two-time All-Star Jofet Triga helped the North Sydney Bears beat the Wests Tigers, 8-4. O.P. Milk notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. The loss makes Wests 3-6.

Conrad Verberne gave North Sydney a good at-bat in the top of the fifth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double to help send North Sydney to the win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Triga after the game.
