Dragons Whitney Suffers Setback Friday, March 21st, 1986 The St. George Dragons plan to take it slow with reliever Jeff Whitney, knowing that his recovery from an arthritic elbow would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Jeff has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 2-3 months before he can be activated." This season Whitney has made 19 relief appearances and saved 0 games.
