Colin Woolland Injured, Out for Season Thursday, June 16th , 2022 Rockdale reliever Colin Woolland could miss the remainder of the season because of bone chips in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Lidcombe game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Woolland would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." To date this year, he has registered 1 save, 3 wins and 1 loss with a 2.86 ERA. Woolland has made 25 relief appearances, worked a total of 56.2 innings and surrendered 47 hits. He has fanned 43, issued 28 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .229 batting average. |
