Thacker Pitches Brawlers to Shutout Victory Thursday, August 18th , 2022 In a remarkable performance, Marrickville Brawlers starter Will Thacker beat the Belmore Bluebirds 2-0 in an impressive 4-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Brawlers hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Belmore manager said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
