Sharks Dugan Calling it Quits Sunday, April 17th , 2022 Steve Dugan said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport. The Cronulla Sharks reliever announced today that this season will be his last. "It's Freedom 36," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement." In 486 appearances Dugan boasts a 94-105 career record with a 4.02 ERA. He has been credited with a save 8 times and opponents have a batting average of .248 against him. |
