Hoolahan, Roarty Swap Teams Thursday, February 24th , 2022 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Cronulla Sharks and the North Sydney Bears have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old 1B Jonathan Hoolahan heading to North Sydney in exchange for 23-year old minor league 2B Chris Roarty, 19-year old minor league RHP Rich Iddon, and 20-year old minor league 2B Matt Gazzard. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Checking out his career figures, Hoolahan has played in 679 games with a .269 batting average. Among his 691 hits are 162 home runs. He has also scored 382 runs, stolen 3 bases, and driven in 431 runs. |
