Morgan Fires 8-0 Shutout in Sea Eagles Win Sunday, August 6th , 2023 Everything clicked on the hill today for Buddie Morgan as he hurled the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles to a 8-0 shutout win over the St. George Dragons, limiting them to 1 hit while recording 5 strikeouts and yielding 2 walks. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Dragons manager Ted Williams said. "We just weren't able to get to him." Up to now Morgan has recorded a record of 10-7. In 21 starts he has fanned 123 batters in 137.1 innings with a 3.34 ERA.
