WL Selects Rookie of the Month Thursday, September 1st , 2022 He might be a rookie, but he is a player. Danny Brothers of Parramatta certainly showed that this month with an outstanding 3-0 won-lost record and impressive 1.10 ERA. For that kind of performance Brothers was named the Waratah League Rookie of the Month. In August he started 5 games, tossed 32.2 innings, gave up 16 base hits, struck out 35 and walked 10. Opposing batters combined for a .145 average against him. On the year Brothers has worked 148 innings with 169 strikeouts en route to a 8-7 record and 2.49 ERA. |
