Postseason Bid Ends for Canterbury Thursday, September 1st , 2022 They put up a valiant effort, but the Canterbury Bulldogs didn't have what it takes to make the Australian Baseball League playoffs in 2022. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Bulldogs closer Erich Morrall. Before this season, the Bulldogs last missed the playoffs in 2020. In the 24 years they have been a Australian Baseball League franchise, they have made the playoffs 8 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Bulldogs have missed the playoffs 7 times. Canterbury last won the Grand Final Series in 2001. |
