Puckeridge Hurls 2-0 Masterpiece Saturday, September 17th , 2022 In an outstanding mound performance, Geelong Cats starter Boof Puckeridge fired a complete-game shutout against the South Melbourne Swans at Albert Park Baseball Grounds today. Puckeridge was the key to the Cats's 2-0 win. The 32-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 4 hits and no walks he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." On the season Puckeridge has 5 wins and 12 losses and a 4.36 ERA.
