Memphis Wins American Conference South Division Crown
Monday, September 1st , 2053
Members of the Memphis Redbirds say winning the American Conference South Division title is special, but ultimately they will only be remembered with a championship season.
"We want to put ourselves in the history books and win the Round 2," said starting pitcher Jorge Figueroa. "We all believe it can happen, it's just a matter of putting in the hard work and getting the breaks."
It's the 14th division win for the club and they will be vying for their 6th Round 2 win.
"To see the team get here, it makes you believe in yourself and all the systems you've put in place," said the team's manager.
