Injury Sidelines Emílio Crespo for Season

Doctors in Staten Island HS said Emílio Crespo might not play anymore this year. The Explorers reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Glendale HS Goths and will be out for at least 12 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
This year, Crespo has 1 save, totaled 13 innings, allowed 25 base hits and fashioned a 13.15 ERA while racking up 12 strikeouts and a record of 1 win and no losses.
