The home crowd had a good time watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles get after it.
Baltimore pitcher John Means did his part in helping his team beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Means went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-6.
In the bottom of the second, Austin Hays hit a 3-run home run. The 12th home run of the season for the Baltimore center fielder put the Orioles on top, 3-0.
Means attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
