Rizzo Excels in 5-1 Chicago Win
The Chicago Cubs beat the Cincinnati Reds, 5-1, at Wrigley Field. The win was due in part to first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Chicago reliever Jharel Cotton picked up the win, upping his record to 7-3. Anthony DeSclafani was saddled with the loss. Adbert Alzolay earned his 3rd save in 4 chances.

With Chicago leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Rizzo hit a cutter from Wade Miley for a 2-run home run. It was his 34th home run of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 4-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Rizzo said.

The Cubs are now 67-76, while the Reds fall to 66-77.
