Donaldson has 3 hit night as Twins Squeeze Past Seattle
The Minnesota Twins beat the Seattle Mariners, 6-5, at T-Mobile Park. Minnesota third baseman Josh Donaldson had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Trevor May earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Taylor Rogers.

It could have been a different outcome for Minnesota, had it not been for Max Kepler, the slugging right fielder . Kepler contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Minnesota up, 6-5.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Donaldson told the Minnesota Bulletin.

Minnesota goes to 4-2 with the win.
