Miami-Philadelphia Brawl, Brinson and Guerra Suspended

Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Miami-Philadelphia contest at Marlins Park. The Marlins Lewis Brinson and the Phillies Deolis Guerra will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl.

In 32 games this year Brinson has posted a .226 average and put up these numbers: 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

This season Guerra has earned 0 saves, tossed 68.2 innings, made 65 relief appearances, fanned 63 hitters and posted an ERA of 3.67. Teams are hitting .246 against him.
