Marlins Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 Fans of the Miami Marlins will no doubt soon start turning their attention to next season -- if they haven't already. The team today was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Miami last appeared in the postseason in 2003. This is their 17th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 27-year history. Miami last won the World Series in 2003. |
