Cubs Lester Claims 200th Victory Friday, September 11th, 2020 Chicago ace Jon Lester solidified his place in league history with his 200th career victory today at Busch Stadium. Lester and the Cubs bested St. Louis 15-8. He checked the Cardinals on 4 hits in 5 innings and finished the day with 4 strikeouts and no walks. "I've worked hard for this day," Lester said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!"
