Garcia, Bauer Suspended for Fracas Sunday, September 20th, 2020 If there wasn't a history between Leury Garcia of Arizona and Trevor Bauer of San Diego, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Garcia said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This season Garcia is hitting at a .242 pace with 1 home run, 23 RBIs and has scored 24 times. This season Bauer has a 7-9 record with a 4.41 ERA. |
