Villar Wins NL Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 21st, 2020 There was no one hotter in the National League last week as Jonathan Villar attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 29-year-old Chicago second baseman batted .472 with 17 hits in 36 at-bats, 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. So far this year Villar is batting .291 with 14 home runs. |
