Jackson Walks Away from the Game

Edwin Jackson said he's incredibly grateful for getting a chance to play with the Reno Aces organization, but this season will be his last.
"I'm extremely loyal to the team, but that's why I have to walk away. I think there's probably someone younger and better who can come in and take my spot," the 37-year-old said. "I'm grateful for all the opportunities I've gotten in pro ball."
To date in his career, Jackson has pitched in 412 games, piling up 1 save with 1508 Ks in 1960 innings. He has a record of 107-133 and a 4.78 ERA.
