He may only be 23, but Eddy Demurias of the Greeneville Reds has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Appalachian League.

The reliever was today named the APP Reliever of the Year winner for 2020.

He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 5 saves in 17 relief appearances and 42 strikeouts in 28 innings. He had a record of 2-0 to go with his 0.96 ERA.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Zack Phillips of the Burlington Royals finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Carlos Garcia of the Princeton Rays finished third.
