Kerner APP's Top Player for 2020

Adam Kerner took Appalachian League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Kingsport Mets star has been named the 2020 Appalachian League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the catcher.
On the season he compiled a .371 batting average to go with a .438 on-base percentage. The native of Agoura Hills, California also added 16 doubles, 4 triples, 12 home runs, 39 RBIs and 46 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Roberto Alvarez of the Princeton Rays finished second in voting, while Jose Marquez of the Burlington Royals finished third.
