Braves Pick Up 4-0 Win Over Lexington
Rome picked up a win at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, toppling the Lexington Legends, 4-0. Pitcher Juan Grimaldo was one of the reasons the Braves triumphed. Grimaldo, now 9-6, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The victory gives Rome a record of 52-36.

Rome used a clutch hit from Andy Huddleston to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Braves ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Huddleston.
