Intimidators Heading to Round 2 Tuesday, September 19th , 2034 The Kannapolis Intimidators are heading to the Round 2, having narrowly defeated the Hagerstown Suns. Kannapolis edged Hagerstown in the series 3-2, with a win at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in the clinching game by a 6-0 margin. Esteban Collado turned in a strong offensive performance for the Intimidators and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Round 2 win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Collado continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .571 with a .591 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Kannapolis Intimidators will play against the Rome Braves in the next round. Rome won their series against the Greenville Drive 3 games to 0.
