Jacksonville Bombers starter Juan Lugo was in fine form against the New York (N) Mets at Bombers Park, leading his team to a win, 4-0. The last-place Bombers improved to 20-27.
Jeremie Gentileschi, who is a two-time All-Star, came through for Jacksonville with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Lugo said.
