Astros Stick Red Sox with 3-1 Loss
|
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 25-year old right fielder José Robles, the Houston Astros stopped the Boston Red Sox, 3-1. The Astros now have a mark of 44-34.
With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the sixth, Robles had a key at-bat for Houston. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Robles, who finished 3rd in the AL in home runs with 42 last year, hit a run-scoring single off Jimmy Sharp, making the score 2-1, Astros.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Robles.
