Cubs Cruise to Round 2 with Sweep
After their 4-3 win today at Ballpark of Durango over the St. Paul Saints, the Iowa Cubs will advance to the Round 2. Iowa won the series by a 3-0 margin.

Leading the way for the Cubs was third baseman Len Donovan, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Iowa Cubs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Worcester Red Sox - Rochester Red Wings series. Worcester leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
