Mariners Lose to Diamondbacks, 3-1
|
The bats were silent much of the day at Chase Field. But Joe Harris conjured up just enough offense to carry the Diamondbacks past the Seattle Mariners, 3-1. Harris went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Arizona is second in the National League Western Division with a record of 43-44.
In the first inning, Harris had a 2-run home run for Arizona. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Diamondbacks on top, 2-0.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Harris. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
