Morín Lays Hammer Down in 4-0 Win
|
Pitcher Arturo Morín was sensational for the Boston Red Sox in his team's 4-0 triumph over the New York (A) Yankees. Morín picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The second-place Red Sox have a record of 47-50.
Morín imposed his will on the Yankees, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 11. The left-hander upped his season record to 4-7.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Boston manager Kendall DeSanto.
