Carter Plays Big Role in Washington Win
|
Washington Nationals starter Tim Carter turned in an exceptional performance against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, resulting in a Washington win, 7-2. With the win over Philadelphia, the Nationals improved to 69-55.
Carter was effective against the Phillies, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Philadelphia to just 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.
