Hoover Hits 2 home runs in White Sox Win
The Chicago (A) White Sox and Texas Rangers played an exciting game.

A good performance from right fielder Tony Hoover helped the Chicago (A) White Sox defeat the Texas Rangers, 4-2. Hoover hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the White Sox. Andreus Diplarakos, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-5. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 1.

Hoover had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 forkball from Tamwar Taqi, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the White Sox a 2-1 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Hoover.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hoover.

Chicago (A), at 58-71, holds down last place in the American League Central Division.
