Yankees Shut Out Guardians, 4-0

Starting pitcher Mike Espinosa had a solid game. He was a big reason the New York (A) Yankees throttled the Cleveland Guardians, 4-0. The victory gives New York (A) a record of 65-64.
The Yankees got a big hit from first baseman Ron Washington. In the bottom of the fifth, Washington pounded a 2-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Yankees ahead, 4-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Espinosa.
