Kennedy Leads Jacksonville to 2-0 Win
|
Doug Kennedy never let the Blue Jays get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Bombers to a win, 2-0. Eli Clark notched his 30th save in 38 chances. Jacksonville, now 56-103, holds down last place in the National League Southern Division.
Kennedy overpowered the Blue Jays. The Jacksonville right-hander allowed 5 hits over 8 innings, while recording 11 punchouts. With the win, he is 7-11 on the season.
"Good win for our guys," said Kennedy.
