Saints Jesús Carranza Will Miss Season Monday, May 26th , 2042 The season is finished for Jesús Carranza of the St. Paul Saints. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Saints third baseman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Memphis Redbirds. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. Carranza is batting at a .304 pace this season, picking up 51 hits in 168 at-bats with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
