Rochester Wins Round 1 Sunday, September 22nd , 2041 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Rochester Red Wings have edged the Worcester Red Sox. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Round 1, with a 6-5 win in the clincher being the difference for Rochester and giving them the ticket to the Round 2 with a 3-2 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Gilberto Macías, who was named series MVP.
