Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Friday, April 25th , 2042 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Toledo-Tri-City contest at Fifth Third Field. The Mud Hens Bruno Howard and the ValleyCats Luis Díaz will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Howard is hitting .150 with 3 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and has scored 3 runs. This season Díaz has crafted a 0-0 mark with a 5.02 ERA in 14.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .226 against him and he has 14 strikeouts. |
